Hi there, I’m an auditor at the Office of the City Auditor in the City of Austin. I created this site when I was working as a journalist as a place to keep and share my work. I recently changed careers and graduated with a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.

My roles as a journalist included working at The Associated Press in Chicago and The Dallas Morning News. I’m a native Michigander, adopted Texan, and a fan of dogs, baseball, baking, and video games.
